Video: Will I be reimbursed for my attorney fees and costs if I win?

In Florida, a party can get attorney's fees two ways, if there's a contract with an attorney's fee provision, or if you're suing under a statute that has an attorney's fee provision included therein. Either way, a party shouldn't go into a lawsuit solely because they think they can recover their attorney's fees. Most cases don't wind up going to trial. Most cases settle. In a settlement, if it's a good settlement, both parties walk away a little unhappy. Consult an attorney and figure out whether your claim is worth going forward for your attorney's fees.
