Video: Are guardianships for minor children different from guardianships for older persons?

Guardianship's for minor children are not necessarily different than guardianship's for older persons, because the same rights that get delegated to a guardian for an adult, get delegated to a guardian for a minor. The main different would be when you establish the guardianship for a minor you don't have to file a petition to determine incapacity, whereas for an adult you do file a petition to determine incapacity in most cases.
